PATRICIA MITCHELL - SENIOR COUNSEL

Patricia Mitchell is a highly accomplished employment litigation attorney with 24 years of experience in Plaintiff’s side employment law matters. She has a proven ability to achieve favorable outcomes through strategic litigation, negotiation, and trial advocacy. Ms. Mitchell’s expertise encompasses a wide range of employment law disputes, including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, and wage and hour violations, and she has a strong track record of successful settlements and trial victories.  

Prior to joining Schein Law Group, Ms. Mitchell acted as Senior Counsel at Remedy Law Group, Ms. Mitchell managed a diverse caseload of plaintiff-side employment litigation. She has demonstrated success in negotiating and achieving significant settlements, including numerous six-figure and seven-figure outcomes. Prior to joining Remedy Law Group, Ms. Mitchell worked as an attorney at the Law Offices of Lauren Abrams, where she represented plaintiffs in employment litigation successfully achieving numerous 6 and 7 figure settlements through effective case analysis and litigation strategies.  

From 2009 to 2016, Ms. Mitchell owned and managed her own practice, The Law Offices of Patricia Mitchell, where she handled all aspects of plaintiff-side employment litigation, from case intake to settlement or trial. Earlier in her career, she gained experience representing defendants in employment litigation at Kulik, Gottesman, Mouton and Seigel, where she achieved favorable outcomes through settlement and summary judgment. She also managed all phases of litigation, including trial preparation and trial, at Albright, Yee & Schmidt and served as Senior Employment Counsel at the Law Offices of Shawn Khorrami, where she managed all employment litigation matters and achieved numerous settlements valued up to $30 million.  

Ms. Mitchell’s legal education includes a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Loyola Law School (2001), where she was recognized for her Top Ten Appellate Brief in the Scott Moot Court Team and achieved 2nd Place in the Scott Moot Court Team competition. She also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Political Science (with honors) from the University of California, Santa Barbara (1998). Her professional achievements have been recognized with a "Rising Star" award from Super Lawyers (2013-2016). Ms. Mitchell is admitted to the California Bar and is a member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles and the Los Angeles County Bar Association
